Marie

Sweet Marie, grateful for the smallest kindness, is loyal, loving, friendly, and eager to please. Although this little old lady must have had a pretty hard life, she is just about the sweetest dog you could ever meet, despite her past. She asks for little more than your presence and will quietly follow your every footstep, lie patiently at your feet, walk with you anywhere, and accompany you gladly on car rides. Marie will "Sit Pretty" for treats and take them oh-so-gently from your fingers. Marie is a Rat Terrier-Beagle mix, probably 11-12 years old and about 17 pounds. She loves kids, gets along great with other dogs and with cats. She has yet to meet a stranger! Marie is 100% housetrained and knows how to use a doggie door. With her gentle nature, soulful eyes, and happy personality, she is very low maintenance and a pleasure to have around the house. Image: Courtesy of New Rattitude, Inc. Rat Terrier Rescue
